Anthropic has just unveiled a game-changer in the world of AI: Claude Managed Agents. This tool promises to simplify the complex process of building and deploying autonomous AI systems, making it accessible to businesses everywhere.
Katelyn Lesse, head of engineering for the Claude Platform, explains that this new product will equip developers with an agent harness, which includes software tools, memory systems, and sandboxed environments. This means agents can now run autonomously in the cloud, monitor other agents, and access various tools securely.
The launch comes at a time when Anthropic’s annualized recurring revenue has surged to over $30 billion, nearly tripling since December 2025. With OpenAI also pushing hard with its own agent platform, Frontier, the race is on for dominance in enterprise AI solutions.
Developers like Angela Jiang argue that this tool will bridge the gap between what Anthropic’s models can do and how businesses are currently utilizing them. She notes, ‘This enables any business to take advantage of best-in-class infrastructure and deploy a fleet of Claude agents.'
The future looks bright for enterprise AI, but Wall Street investors remain cautious. Will traditional software-as-a-service firms be phased out by these powerful new tools? Only time will tell.
