Tesla has reported another strong quarter, with revenue and profits both rising. The company is preparing for its first large-scale factory to manufacture Optimus robots, which will eventually replace the Model S and Model X lines in Fremont.
Despite missing Wall Street’s revenue expectations, Tesla is forging ahead with ambitious projects like Dojo 3, a space-based AI computer, while also launching experimental services such as robot taxis in Dallas and Houston.
The past few months have seen ups and downs for the tech giant. The Netherlands approved Tesla's Full Self-Driving system, and the Cybertruck’s sales are boosted by selling it to Elon Musk himself. But with the Model S and Model X discontinued to make way for Optimus, some wonder if Musk has shifted his focus from cars.
As Tesla continues to pivot towards AI and robotics, the future remains uncertain. Will we see a world of human-like robots or just more self-driving cars?
