SoftBank’s Robo-Data Center Dreams

Is the future of tech infrastructure built by robots, or is this just SoftBank's grand scheme?

Tech giants are stepping up their game in automation, with SoftBank now venturing into robotic construction for data centers. The company’s new venture, Roze AI, plans to deploy autonomous bots to streamline server farm creation.

Excitingly, this ambitious project is already preparing for a massive IPO by 2026, possibly valued at $100 billion. But not everyone in SoftBank is sold on the idea; some executives are skeptical about its timeline and valuation.

In a similar vein, Jeff Bezos has also been dabbling with AI-driven industrial modernization through his Project Prometheus. This move by SoftBank might just be the next big thing, or another tech fad that fizzles out like Zume—only time will tell which it is.
