Attie, Bluesky's AI assistant for custom social feeds, is transforming into a versatile research aid. The new Quests feature allows users to ask Attie open-ended questions about trending topics and influential accounts on the Atmosphere network.
The company aims to reduce barriers to using the AT Protocol by providing intuitive tools for customization. With around 45.6 million registered accounts, Bluesky seeks to grow its user base through innovative services like Attie.
Chief Innovation Officer Jay Graber believes in tools that help users navigate misinformation, stating that clarity is more valuable than confusion. Quests are designed to make exploring the open social web easier and more accessible.
While many Bluesky users may be wary of AI, the company’s funding allows it to experiment with new services. The redesign includes accessibility features and a refreshed logo, signaling ongoing improvements for Attie.
The beta release is currently on a waitlist, inviting select users over the coming weeks to test these new functionalities. As Attie evolves, it remains to be seen how effectively it will bridge the gap between human curiosity and machine insight.
