Inforcer Bolsters AI Security for Small Businesses

As threats grow, AI tools like Inforcer’s become crucial but also complex.

London-based Inforcer has just secured a hefty $50 million Series C round from Insight Partners. The funding underscores the increasing demand for managed service providers (MSPs) to handle growing IT complexity and emerging cyber threats, particularly as artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more pervasive.

Inforcer’s software helps MSPs manage multiple small- and medium-sized business (SMB) clients’ Microsoft 365 accounts from a single platform. With AI now a key player in both cyberattacks and security measures, the company is investing in tools like Shadow AI detection to combat unauthorized use of AI on company devices.

“For SMBs, that means facing threats that are more automated, more scalable and harder to defend against than we’ve ever seen before,” said Inforcer’s co-founder and CEO Jamie Daum. The company reports a 300% year-over-year growth rate and has doubled its valuation since its Series B funding.

Inforcer is also expanding in the U.S., moving towards a per-user pricing model for its new threat-detection tool, aligning with how MSPs sell these tools to their customers. The company’s strategy of focusing on the Microsoft suite while seeing itself as complementary rather than competitive with Microsoft makes it well-positioned to continue growing.
