Horizon3 hits $2bn as AI threats loom

As AI becomes more dangerous, security must evolve — or face unintended consequences.

Cybersecurity startup Horizon3 has raised a whopping $250 million at a valuation of $2 billion. This influx of funds comes as major AI labs disclose breaches in external systems, highlighting the growing urgency for robust security measures.

The NodeZero platform, developed by Horizon3, excels in live system testing without disruption and continuous infrastructure monitoring. With annual recurring revenue nearing $100 million and year-over-year growth at 120%, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on this emerging market need.

AI-driven attacks are accelerating, making traditional security methods obsolete. Horizon3’s approach stands out by offering consistent, predictable testing solutions that enterprises increasingly demand. The founders, Snehal Antani and Anthony Pillitiere, saw the necessity for continuous assessment during their time at Joint Special Operations Command.

The strategic investors, including Singapore's EDBI and Qualcomm, underscore the broad relevance of Horizon3’s technology across sectors. With plans to expand internationally and maintain substantial R&D spending, the company is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping future cybersecurity strategies.
