A British entrepreneur has firmly denied being the elusive creator of Bitcoin, dismissing claims made by The New York Times as mere coincidence.
Adam Back, a leading developer in the field of cryptography and online privacy, told BBC that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto. Despite similarities between his online activity and what was attributed to the mysterious founder, Back argues it's just bad luck.
The identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has long been a puzzle, with several individuals making claims over the years. Peter Todd, Stephen Mollah, Dorian Nakamoto, Craig Wright – all have stepped forward only to be debunked or dismissed by the community.
Back’s denial comes amid ongoing intrigue about the true identity and wealth of Satoshi Nakamoto. If they still hold onto their original Bitcoin stash, it could be worth billions today, making them one of the world's richest people without owning a single company.
