Razr Ultra: Still the Best-Looking Phone, But at a Price

The Motorola Razr Ultra is visually stunning but may leave your wallet feeling a bit naked.

The new 2026 Motorola Razr Ultra remains a striking and handsome phone, despite little in the way of major updates. Its wood-finish back panel returns alongside an attractive orient blue suede option. While it's not short on features like a 50-megapixel camera sensor with improved high dynamic range performance, the price tag of $1,499 is steep.

Other minor tweaks include increased brightness and better drop protection for the outer screen, but these come at the expense of higher storage costs. The device also offers innovative camera tricks like Frame Match for those tricky group shots.

The Razr Ultra will be available from May 14th for preorder, with delivery on May 21st. For those who appreciate a good phone design and are willing to pay, it's got a lot going for it; just make sure your wallet isn't feeling ultra-tight first.
