Nothing is more frustrating than buying a new pair of headphones or an OLED TV only to find out the price has dropped. To keep customers happy and prevent them from shopping elsewhere, some retailers offer price-matching policies where they promise to match a lower price found elsewhere.
With Prime Day approaching on June 23rd, which lasts through June 26th, we’re here to let you know which retailers will go the extra mile for you. Amazon doesn’t offer price matching; however, you can return and repurchase items from cheaper sources if they are available for less elsewhere.
Target now only matches prices of identical products found on its website or in-store for 14 days after purchase. To request a price match, show the online price or digital ad with your original receipt; however, this is not applicable to clearance items or those purchased via Target Circle Bonuses.
Best Buy’s Price Match Guarantee states that a product could be eligible for a price reduction if it's new and identical to the competitor's product. It does not match membership-exclusive discounts, thus excluding Amazon Prime Day deals. Contact Best Buy by phone or visit any store to request a price match.
Walmart matches prices of items purchased from Walmart stores but only on its website when the item is in stock. However, it doesn’t apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, special event prices like Black Friday, or items from Walmart Marketplace retailers.
