Elon’s Bank Balance: Not Quite a Trillion

Is humanity’s future on Mars or in rice and beans?

In a world beset by oppression and strife, one injustice stands out: Elon Musk is not currently a trillionaire. When SpaceX went public earlier this month, Musk took to the stage proclaiming his ambition to take us all to the moon, Mars, and perhaps beyond our solar system. His celebratory fist-pumping was met with enthusiastic cheers from his devoted followers.

However, stock markets are fickle creatures, and right now, Musk is merely a few hundred billion richer according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index. The math has become more complicated than the calculations needed for interstellar travel. How will he support his numerous offspring and continue expanding his family? The answers may lie in simpler recipes or thrift store tips.

As we navigate these trying times, let us hope that Musk finds a balance between his visions of the future and practical realities. For now, we wish him well on this journey.
