Although the automotive landscape has seen a surge of high-end luxury models, Kia’s new Seltos offers a breath of fresh air. This small SUV isn’t just about style; it’s about substance too.
The Seltos takes cues from its bigger brother, the Telluride, but at a fraction of the price. With a starting price of $24,990 plus delivery, it promises to give you plenty for not much.
Despite being subcompact, with dimensions of 174.4 inches in length and 64.9 inches in height, it’s not without its features. Available powertrains include a choice between a 2.0 L four-cylinder engine or a more eco-friendly hybrid variant (though the latter won’t be available for some time). The Seltos also offers both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options, giving you flexibility in how you use it.
For now, the most intriguing option is the 1.6 L hybrid, but Kia isn't ready to divulge its exact specifications until after the EPA certification process is complete, likely early next year.
