Logitech is facing a proposed class action lawsuit for not handing back tariff refund money to customers. In April 2025, the company raised prices on 51 percent of its portfolio by up to 25 percent.
The complaint argues that Logitech retained every dollar of these price hikes despite being reimbursed by the federal government for tariffs declared unlawful by the Supreme Court. The lawsuit is filed in San Jose District Court against Logitech by SJK Development and California resident Ala Awadalla, who claim to have paid more for the same products.
Logitech CFO Matteo Anversa stated that these price increases offset the financial impact of tariffs during a fiscal Q4 2026 earnings call. However, no public announcements were made about this hike, and customers were left with higher prices without any compensation.
The complaint highlights Logitech's failure to refund or offer credit for the tariff component in product pricing, stating that had they not inflated their prices, plaintiffs would have paid less for identical products.
