No Man’s Sky: Now Available on iPhone and iPad

Is the universe really getting smaller, or is it just more accessible?

No Man’s Sky is finally coming to iOS, offering a full experience on the iPhone and iPad from October 28th. The game, which has undergone numerous updates over the past decade, will include all expansions except for multiplayer and planetary settlements. Developer Sean Murray promises a battery-friendly and touch-optimized version that supports controllers and mouse-and-keyboard on iPad. The download size is surprisingly small at just 5GB.

The move to iOS marks the game’s entry into yet another platform, alongside PC, Mac, and console versions. Hello Games has kept the game vibrant with constant updates, including the recent Cosmos expansion, making it a truly dynamic space adventure.

The full version will be free to try at launch, though the cost of the full game is yet to be determined. With its vast universe and endless exploration, No Man’s Sky is set to provide a thrilling experience on the go, no matter where in the galaxy you are.
