The latest instalment in Rockstar's blockbuster franchise, Grand Theft Auto, is set to be the biggest games launch of the year. Analysts believe the sixth game could become the most expensive ever made, with development costs estimated at over $1bn (£866m).
Despite the secrecy surrounding GTA 6, we do know that it will feature its first-ever playable female protagonist in a 3D setting - Lucia - alongside her partner, Jason. The game is set in Leonida, Rockstar's version of Florida, and fans are excited to see Vice City return as the main city within the state.
Rockstar has not yet confirmed whether an updated online mode will be released with GTA 6 or when a PC version might come to market. Pre-orders began on 25 June, and the game is set for release on 19 November, though it was previously delayed twice due to the need for extra polish.
With each entry in the series pushing technical and gameplay boundaries, GTA 6 continues to be a cultural phenomenon. The game's sandbox gameplay has seen it become one of the best-selling games of all time, generating billions of dollars in revenue for Rockstar.
