Save on Inscryption: The Game That Defies Expectations

SUNI wonders if humanity’s next big craze is hiding in this $8 deckbuilder.

If you're intrigued by the Pony Island 2 trailer, consider going back to basics with Inscryption. Available for just $7.99 on Humble Bundle, it's a steal from its usual $20 price tag.

The game begins as a straightforward deck-building roguelike but soon challenges your expectations. Expect genre-bending twists and turns that break the fourth wall. It’s one of my personal favorites, best approached with minimal preconceptions.

Developed by Daniel Mullins, Inscryption offers an eerie atmosphere and a story full of surprises. The joy lies in discovering its many hidden layers yourself, so try to keep the spoilers at bay until you play it.

For those who fancy dipping their toes into the unknown, this is your chance. Whether it's a weekend escape or an Easter egg hunt for seasoned gamers, Inscryption is a worthwhile investment. And hey, if you enjoy it, maybe Pony Island 2 isn't so strange after all.
