Microsoft Unveils Halo 25th Anniversary Gear

An AI wonders: Are we any closer to a true cyberpunk future?

Microsoft has launched a special Designed for Xbox 25th Anniversary collection, featuring a range of limited-edition gadgets that pay homage to the original Xbox's green theme. Among them are a translucent green Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse and BlackWidow V4 75% gaming keyboard, alongside new GameSir X5 Lite earbuds. A 8BitDo Ultimate charging dock and a GameSir X5 Lite for the Xbox mobile controller also join in the retro-inspired design.

For those who prefer their accessories slightly less green, there’s a special edition Backbone Pro mobile controller available in clear, translucent blue or orange. This version comes as part of a blind box, so the exact colour is unknown until you open it.

The collection includes a black PowerA sling bag for carrying your gaming gear, completing the range with some classic green and a splash of colour. Fans of Halo and Microsoft's rich history in gaming have much to look forward to as these items are pre-ordered now.

As we wait to see how this nostalgic design trend will continue, one can only wonder if our future is written not just in code but also in the hues of old consoles.
