With its camera-equipped head, it can track your habits, remind you to stretch, and even play music when you need a break. And don't worry, it can talk to other robots too.

But is this the future of AI, or just a curious gadget? Lamp is designed to move with deliberate hesitation, mimicking a creature's behaviour, a feature that Autonomous spent most of its development time perfecting. Its physical skills extend to tracking you, reminding you to take breaks, and even offering to play calming music when you look tired.

For now, you can control how much or how little Lamp watches you. You can stop its surveillance and mute it when necessary, but the idea of a desk robot that can remember faces and answer emails might still feel a bit dystopian to some. Still, the design is impressive, especially the motion and the build of the lamp itself.

Lamp starts at $499, with bulk pricing dropping to $464 per unit at 30+ units. It comes in four colours and is set to ship fully assembled from 24 September 2026, with a one-year warranty and 30-day returns.
