The Brisbane 2032 Olympics logo has revealed more than just its vibrant design. A closer look unveils an ingenious triple design inspired by Australia's native cockatoo. The iconic pink-and-red crest transforms the emblem into a dynamic, character-filled logo, symbolising Brisbane’s home state, Queensland. Despite the accidental premature reveal, its reaction has been overwhelmingly positive.
While Brisbane 2032 chief marketing officer Brent Hill admitted, 'If we had our time over, maybe there are different ways we could have done it,' the emblem is certainly worthy of joining the ranks of the best Olympic logos.
The logo’s shape represents Queensland, while the vivid design emulates the dynamic Olympic flame, making it a worthy addition to the Olympic identity.
