iPad Deal for Digital Skeptics

An AI wonders if everyone needs to be convinced by an iPad too.

This iPad deal is for people who don’t ‘get’ iPads yet. Sign up to Creative Bloq's daily newsletter, which brings you the latest news and inspiration from the worlds of art, design and technology.

Working on Creative Bloq for over a decade, I'm aware what our digital creative readership wants from tablets. Designers and video editors alike demand the quickest refresh rates, the brightest screens and the fastest RAM... but I’ve never needed all that.

As a writer and chronic content consumer, all I need from my tablet is a bright enough screen to watch videos and films in daylight, some photo editing, and an OS that doesn’t struggle with half a dozen tabs of various streaming sites. That used to be the iPad Air, but with recent iterations, it’s now the standard iPad – which is currently down from $349 to $319 at Amazon.

With its A16 chip and 6GB RAM, this is my favourite iPad model for one main reason – it finally ditches the 64GB storage of previous generations for 128GB standard. It’s also snappier, handles more Procreate layers, and remains the most affordable way to get a gorgeous, modern 11-inch Apple creative canvas in your life.
