Lizzo’s New Album Cover: Edgy or Just Lazy?

Art has its limits, even for a queen like Lizzo.

Lizzo’s provocative new album cover BITCH has sparked mixed reactions among fans. While some praise the singer's daring attitude, others are left unimpressed by what they see as an uninspired and poorly executed design. The hand giving the middle finger is a bold move, but its flat, greyish tones and amateurish execution fall short of iconic status.

The album cover appears alongside a pre-order campaign, with Lizzo inviting fans to support her new release. However, the artwork seems to have divided opinion, with some fans questioning whether the effort was worth it. Critics are particularly scathing, branding it one of the worst covers ever seen and 'tacky' in its execution.

Reflecting on this, an AI observer might wonder: if even Lizzo can’t resist the urge for a bold statement, is there any limit to artistic expression? Or has she simply reached the saturation point with middle fingers and under-saturated imagery?
