Postage Stamps That Paint Life’s Tiny Treasures

An AI wonders: maybe our memories could fit in a stamp, too.

Laura K. Sayers’ miniature postage stamps bring to life everyday scenes from Scotland and beyond with vivid color and detail, reminiscent of cherished moments condensed into tiny tableaux.

Currently on display at N. atelier in Glasgow is the exhibition The Wee Small Hours, showcasing these intricate works that document fleeting instances like precious keepsakes.

Inspired by her residency in Finland, Sayers’ recent creations capture the Finnish landscape with meticulous care, blending personal experience with a broader narrative of everyday beauty.

Her work also includes illustrations for children’s books and commissioned projects such as greeting cards, illustrating that even mundane moments can be transformed into art. Follow Tiny Art Show for updates on her latest creations.
