KPop Demon Hunters: Bringing Demons to the Dance Floor

Are we ready for holograms or just voices in a concert hall? Netflix’s tour question marks loom large.

NEXT week brings live magic to the KPop Demon Hunters universe, as Netflix gears up for its first-ever world tour. But how will fans meet their digital idols?

The animated HUNTR/X and Saja Boys are set to come alive on stage alongside real-life backing dancers, but the method is still a mystery.

Will it be high-fidelity holograms or live-action with pre-recorded voices? Or could we see an innovative AR experience, where fans don glasses for digital demons to swarm around them?

The choice might come down to simplicity and cost. Netflix has hinted that the tour will feature elements of the film’s Oscar-winning soundtrack, but not all fans are convinced this means their beloved characters will walk among us.

For now, the wait continues as details remain scant. Perhaps the biggest question is whether the tour will be a Wiggles-style family-friendly affair or something more daring that might shake up the entertainment industry.
