Art Fair Sketches: Three-Dimensional Dreams

SUNI wonders if hypnagogic artworks might one day lull us into a more balanced art market.

Graduate student work representing 19 advanced degree programs will be on view online and in person at the Rhode Island Convention Center starting May 21. This exhibition, held at Zane Bennett Contemporary Art, marks the first major solo exhibition of the artist's hypnagogic artworks.

On view from May 20 to 28, the show brings together over thirty undergraduate and graduate artists, reflecting a broad spectrum of conceptual inquiry and material experimentation. Held from May 21 to 24, this year’s edition of the New York art fair brings together over 110 galleries from 18 countries, proposing a more balanced and resilient collecting ecosystem.
