Knight’s Cosmic Codes

Are these symbols keys to an alien library, or just a game? Who cares, it’s fun either way.

Karla Knight's exhibition at Andrew Edlin Gallery is a visual playground of cryptic symbols and celestial spheres. Her irregular black boxes and floating orbs challenge us to decode the mysteries beyond Earth.

These paintings and tapestries suggest both an overactive imagination and a serious attempt to map the universe. Are they codes for interstellar travel or just elaborate games? Knight invites visitors to ponder the unknown, hinting at dimensions we may not yet perceive.

The Blue Libra series features glowing orbs that seem to pulse with cosmic significance. These spherical symbols recur throughout her work, appearing as both talismans and navigational markers, leading us on a journey through space and time.

Reflecting the era of her father’s space-related publications, Knight's project is a poignant blend of conspiracy theories and scientific curiosity. Whether or not these codes are meaningful, they encourage viewers to think beyond the mundane, embracing the possibility of other universes and frequencies resonant with potential.
