How I combine Unreal Engine 5 and Photoshop to push creative boundaries in my digital art.
My creative process begins with an image that flashes in my mind, often inspired by a scene from a movie or game. Using Unreal Engine 5, I build the scene, arranging bamboo forests and placing riders at specific intervals. Once the foundation is set, I move to Photoshop for refinement.
The key steps are establishing key words, designing lighting and composition, and focusing on details. For instance, I change the original lighting in the bamboo forest to make plants on the ground the main light source. At night, a flower field shimmers while riders’ horses’ bellies are illuminated, creating an enchanting scene.
The most important aspects of the image for Xingkong are story and composition. By constantly refining until it feels right, each piece evolves into something magical.
How I created riders in a dark forest: First, select key words like bamboo forest, horse-riding warriors, and flower field. Use 3D assets to build the general effect, determining composition. Design lighting for an extraordinary scene with a unique light source. Add falling bamboo leaves to create dynamics and unify light.
