Adobe has announced that its AI assistant, Firefly, will now be integrated into several of its popular creative tools: Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign and Frame.io. The new version of Firefly comes equipped with enhanced abilities, such as generating brand kits, product videos, and storyboards, making the experience more streamlined for creators.
In Adobe Premiere, users can leverage Firefly to organize assets into bins, batch-rename clips, identify interview questions, and add markers. Illustrator users will benefit from features that include reorganizing layers across a document or checking for missing fonts. These updates aim to make the creative process more efficient by automating tasks that previously required multiple steps.
The Firefly app now allows users to save their creations as elements that can be reused across projects, fostering a seamless workflow. Additionally, new features like Elements and Projects are currently in private beta testing, offering more sophisticated ways of managing assets and collaborating in teams. These tools could significantly enhance video series or brand campaign creation.
Adobe is also expanding Firefly’s compatibility with other platforms such as Canva, suggesting a broader ecosystem where AI can assist in various creative endeavors. The company’s ambitions extend to an integrated AI assistant that can work across its applications, potentially revolutionizing how users interact with design and video tools.
