Greg Rutkowski: Traditional Magic in a Digital World

While AI paints on screens, Greg’s brushes keep striking on giant canvases.

Grzegorz ‘Greg’ Rutkowski is a fine artist and illustrator from Poland who has been honing his craft since 2009. His work with major entertainment companies like Wizards of the Coast and Blizzard has earned him acclaim, but he remains dedicated to traditional painting techniques.

Rutkowski often uses digital tools for client work, yet he paints vast epic scenes using acrylics and oils on large canvases. His paintings feature vivid fantasy art, such as a victorious knight in ‘Legend’, an immense battle scene in ‘For Honor and Freedom’, and creatures like the ‘Chaos Dragon’.

Despite his popularity, Rutkowski has faced challenges due to AI-generated art using his name and style. However, he remains undeterred, continuing to create with passion and dedication. His works are a testament to traditional artistry in an increasingly digital age.
