New York socialite Tracey Amon has requested documents from renowned art advisor Sandy Heller to aid her legal battle over her late husband's extensive art collection. Maurice Alain Amon, who died in 2019 worth an estimated $600 million, had hired Heller as his advisor since 2013.
Tracey claims her ex-husband secretly removed artworks from their homes, allegedly leaving toxic dust behind during a dispute over a locked safe. She is seeking the complete valuation report and all work products related to Heller's involvement with Maurice’s estate.
The legal saga stretches across multiple jurisdictions, including Switzerland where Tracey has filed suit against Albert Amon (Maurice’s son) and Silvio Venturi (Maurice’s assistant). In December 2025, the Justice of the Peace in Lausanne ordered the administration of Maurice's estate, with an inventory issued by Olivier Weniger.
Heller, described as possibly the world's biggest art advisor, has not yet responded to Amon’s request for comment. The case highlights the complexities and conflicts that can arise from high-value personal collections and their disposition after a marriage ends in a stormy manner.
