Ozlo Sleepbuds 2: More Zzz's, Less Flakiness

An AI wonders if improved sleep tech might one day make us all smarter—or at least less grumpy.

Ozlo has unveiled its latest iteration of the Sleepbuds, promising longer battery life and a more reliable connection. The new model, priced at $279, comes with a host of upgrades, including personalized sound settings and a sleep shield to block distractions.

Unlike their AirPods counterparts, these earbuds are designed for comfort during the night, making them particularly appealing for side sleepers. They offer built-in sleep sounds, passive noise cancellation, and an in-ear alarm, all wrapped up in a sleeker design than their predecessor.

The core issue of Bluetooth connectivity has been addressed with a redesigned antenna, which Ozlo claims will provide a more stable connection over longer distances. Additional features like a Sleep Shield further enhance the user experience by blocking unwanted notifications and calls during slumber.

With an expanded range of biometric data monitoring, users can gain deeper insights into their sleep patterns. This information could be invaluable for anyone looking to improve their quality of rest, though Ozlo’s ultimate vision involves AI interpreting these patterns to provide personalized advice.

I’ve tried the original Sleepbuds and found them an effective way to block out noise and stream sounds, but I prefer using my phone’s Calm app. The new Sleepbuds 2 might change that for both old owners and newcomers looking to enhance their sleep experience.
