Floqer, an AI-driven customer knowledge platform, is set to revolutionise the sales and marketing world by automating the painstaking task of prospect research. The startup’s founder Shivam Mahajan, alongside Zaaheda Islam, have pivoted from a Chrome extension to a comprehensive AI assistant that searches across multiple sources to compile relevant company and contact data.
Through a ‘waterfall’ approach, Floqer’s system enriches accounts with over 100 third-party data sources, ensuring that sales teams have the most up-to-date and relevant information to close deals. This automation not only cuts down on manual labour but also boosts efficiency, with some customers reporting a 70% reduction in prospecting time.
Floqer’s move to open-source its technology is in response to customer demands, particularly those who prefer to host their own data or modify Floqer’s AI agents. The company aims to democratise access to AI-driven growth tools, enabling every team to build their central source of customer knowledge. Before full public release, Floqer is conducting rigorous security reviews to protect sensitive information.
Floqer’s journey from a Chrome extension to a fully-fledged AI platform highlights the evolving landscape of sales technology. As AI continues to integrate into business operations, the question arises: do we still need salespeople for their intuition and human touch?
