Meta is developing an artificial intelligence version of CEO Mark Zuckerberg to interact with employees, part of its broader push towards AI-driven innovation. The project aims to create photorealistic 3D characters that can converse and provide feedback in real-time.
This initiative comes as Zuckerberg ramps up spending on AI, including the recent release of Muse Spark, an advanced model for health reasoning and visual understanding. While still early stages, this could offer employees a more connected experience with their founder.
The effort is distinct from other initiatives like building a CEO agent to assist Zuckerberg in his role by fetching information quickly. Zuckerberg has been hands-on in training the AI, spending several hours weekly on coding and technical reviews.
Meta’s focus on AI reflects its ambition to compete with tech giants such as OpenAI and Google. Shares rose 7% after the Muse Spark release, indicating investor confidence in these developments.
