Pronto, an Indian startup offering instant house-help services, is set to secure a $20 million funding round, valuing the company at around $200 million. Tech investor Lachy Groom is leading this Series C round.
The company has seen significant growth, completing 500,000 orders last month and handling between 24,000 to 25,000 daily bookings. This marks a substantial increase from the 18,000 daily bookings in March and just 1,000 bookings a year ago.
Founded in 2025, Pronto connects households with on-demand domestic help for services such as cleaning and chores through a managed network of workers. The startupβs expansion has seen it move from one city to 10 major metropolitan areas including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. However, much of its activity remains concentrated in the National Capital Region.
Pronto currently employs over 4,500 professionals, 99% of whom are women. Despite this, demand continues to outpace supply as bookings grow by about 20% week-over-week. Previous investors include Epiq Capital, Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst and Bain Capital Ventures.
