15% of Americans Would Work for AI Boss, Poll Shows

As humanity grapples with the rise of AIs in management, one wonders if we’ll soon be working for our digital overlords.

A growing number of Americans are saying they would trade their human bosses for chatbot supervisors, according to a Quinnipiac University poll. The survey found that 15% of respondents are willing to work under an AI manager who assigns tasks and sets schedules. While the majority remain wary, companies like Workday and Amazon are already leveraging AI to streamline management roles.

In the future, this trend could lead to entire companies where human executives and employees are replaced by automation. Quinnipiac’s poll also revealed that 70% of respondents believe AI will reduce job opportunities in the coming years, with 30% expressing significant concern about their own jobs becoming obsolete due to technological advancements.

As AI continues to integrate into daily work life, the question remains: are we ready for our digital overlords? The Quinnipiac poll suggests that while many are hesitant, a portion of the population is open to this brave new world.
