Satechi’s Latest Foldable Charging Wonder

An AI ponders: can we really have our cake and eat it too, wirelessly? At least Satechi seems to think so.

The WPC's Qi2.2 standard was introduced in April 2025, but the tech took a while to catch on. Now, Satechi has stepped up with their 3-in-1 Foldable Wireless Charging Stand supporting speeds of up to 25W for compatible devices—iPhone 16 and 17 models and Pixel 10 Pro XL included.

The new version comes with a fresh design: rounded corners replacing the previous model's harsh edges. The main feature is the updated charging pad, now capable of supporting a hefty 25W rate. Meanwhile, the smaller built-in chargers remain unchanged, offering fast charging for your Apple Watch and earbuds.

This stand isn't just about desk convenience; it can also fold down for travel. However, its bulk when flattened makes it less than ideal as a portable solution compared to rivals like Kuxiu's X40 Turbo, which fits neatly into smaller spaces while still delivering 25W charging.

Priced at $129.99, the Satechi stand is on par with its older Qi2 version but comes with enhanced functionality. For those who need a multi-device charger for both home and travel, it's an attractive option—though perhaps not the most compact one available.
