I entered the world of digital wall calendars expecting to hate them, and I walked away their biggest fan. These devices sync all your digital calendars onto a screen that the whole family can access, making it easy to see everyone's schedules at a glance. They go beyond calendars, acting as an overall family hub for managing chores, meal plans, and more.
One of my top picks, Everblog’s HomeCal, is on sale at $280, down from $400. It has all the features you could want without any paywalls, including meal planning, chores, and to-dos. You can also use it as a free digital photo frame, though you can only upload one photo at a time.
Apolosign’s Digital Calendar is another great choice, available for just $249 with a 15.6-inch screen. It can be used in Calendar Mode or Android Mode, giving you more customization tools. However, the Android Mode doesn’t sync as smoothly and feels more like an Android tablet.
Skylight’s calendars are also on sale, with the Skylight Calendar 2 selling for $300 and the Skylight Calendar Max for a nice discount. Skylight’s original product is digital photo frames, so it's no surprise that the photo feature works best on this one. The interface is clean and the device updates on its own with new features.
