Logitech is reportedly developing a new wireless mouse that folds in half, making it easier to carry around in bags or pockets. The design aims to reduce muscle strain compared to using a laptop trackpad by 22 percent and can be used across multiple operating systems.
The foldable mouse resembles Microsoft’s Surface Arc mouse and Lenovo’s Yoga mouse when unfolded, with an arched shape for optimal use. However, the new Logitech model is unique in that it folds like a clamshell instead of being flat.
No official specifications or dimensions are available yet, but leaked images show the mouse as very compact when folded, seemingly dwarfed by the hand sliding it into a pocket. It features an 'Adaptive Touch Scrolling' area between standard buttons for swiping and a green light indicating wireless connectivity.
The new Logitech mouse can be paired with up to three host devices via Bluetooth and is designed for both left- and right-handed users. Marketing imagery suggests it matches the design of Logitech’s Keys-to-Go 2 portable keyboard, though only a gray version was visible in the leaked images, implying other color options may be available.
For details on price, battery life, and availability, we’ll need to wait for an official announcement from Logitech.
