Marco Arment, the indie developer behind popular apps like Overcast and Instapaper, has created Unforgetful, an alternative to Apple’s Reminders designed for those who struggle with the snooze button.
The app works by ensuring notifications are repeated until a task is completed, addressing issues Arment found in Apple’s system. It also offers scaled snoozing intervals and maintains simplicity without advanced features like tags or different views.
Unforgetful integrates seamlessly with existing Reminders data, making it easy to switch over without losing any tasks. However, its $19.99 yearly fee might be too steep for some users who just want a simple solution.
The app is available on both Mac and iOS, offering voice reminders and widgets for the Lock Screen and Control Center. It promises to keep you on track, no matter how much you love hitting snooze or asking Siri for help.
