The search for a more effective and permanent solution led me to the Thermacell LIV 2.0. This system, a leader in mosquito abatement, offers a semi-permanent setup that can be activated and deactivated as needed, providing a more sustainable and less destructive alternative to traditional methods.

Similar to the original LIV, the LIV 2.0 features Wi-Fi-connected control hubs that emit a chemical called metofluthrin, which repels mosquitoes without killing them. The system can be expanded to cover larger areas, and this year, I added a sixth repeller to ensure complete coverage around my swimming pool.
