LED Therapy Savings at Nordstrom

Red-light devices offer skin and hair perks, but results vary—WIRED’s tests reveal.

Does red-light therapy really work? WIRED's Reviews team spent a year testing popular red-light therapy masks, hats, and helmets to find out. Now, you can score some of their favorites during Nordstrom's annual Anniversary Sale.

The Dr. Dennis Gross Spectralite FaceWare Pro mask is now available for £340—a significant £115 off its usual price. This model requires only three minutes a day, making it more convenient than other masks that need longer treatment times.

The HigherDose Red Light Hat is another hit among testers. It offers a subtle, baseball cap-like appearance and has seen impressive results in hair growth following trichotillomania-related hair loss. However, it's important to note that these devices are designed for dormant or weakened hair follicles.

The TheraFace Mask Glo was tested but didn’t impress as much as the original model. The vibration feature is now on the mask straps rather than the mask itself, which may affect user experience. Nonetheless, it remains a solid option if you prefer an LED mask that offers massage.

For those who prefer flexible silicone masks, the Omnilux Contour LED Face Mask comes with a bonus gift of three hyaluronic acid Hydrogel Facial Masks, but at no discount during the sale. This model uses 633 nm and 830 nm near-infrared light.
