Archer Aviation announced that it now owns its former rival Wisk Aero, under terms where Boeing agreed to sell Wisk Aero and two other subsidiaries to Archer in exchange for an ownership stake. The settlement ended a lawsuit over alleged theft of confidential information and intellectual property.

Joby Aviation took a more straightforward route by acquiring Resonant Sciences for $500 million, marking the electric air taxi developer’s push into the defense sector. Joby says it is sticking with its mission but sees opportunity in the defense market.

Uber reversed course and sold off its stake in Serve Robotics, surprising partner Serve when news of the deal was made public through regulatory filings. Uber remains a business partner, but their contract for delivery robots on the Uber Eats app is set to expire in 2027.

Ford, meanwhile, is on track with its $2 billion renovation of its Louisville Assembly Plant to build EVs, starting with the midsize Fathom truck. Meanwhile, Delta Air Lines is investigating a cybersecurity incident where a passenger allegedly created a fake Wi-Fi network during a flight.
