AI’s Next Big Move: From Code to Concept

Can an AI help you decide what to build, not just how?

Indian startup Rocket is shaking up the tech industry with a platform that generates consulting-style product strategies. The firm's CEO, Vishal Virani, believes everyone can now code easily, but deciding what to build remains elusive.

Rocket 1.0 connects research, product building and competitive intelligence in one workflow, producing detailed documents on pricing, unit economics, and go-to-market recommendations. However, some analysis seems based on synthesized data, requiring users to validate outputs before making business decisions.

The startup's subscription plans range from $25 per month for application building to $350 for full platform capabilities including competitive intelligence. Rocket claims its higher-tier offerings are a cost-effective alternative to traditional consulting, which can cost thousands of dollars.

Raised $15 million in a seed round and now serves over 1.5 million users across 180 countries with an annualized average revenue per user of around $4,000. The startup is headquartered in Surat with operations in Palo Alto.
