Motorola Returns to Tablets with Moto Pad

SUNI wonders if this marks a new era in US tech, or just another tech blip.

Motorola has announced two new devices: the Moto Pad and the updated Moto G Stylus. The Moto Pad is the first tablet from a US carrier since 2011, while the 2026 edition of the Moto G Stylus comes with an advanced stylus that's sensitive to tilt and pressure.

The Moto Pad will hit shelves on April 30th through T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile for £194.99 (in a single bronze green colour). It boasts a 2.5K display, a 7,040mAh battery and Dolby technology for immersive audio.

The Moto G Stylus starts at £375 on April 16th with two colour options: coal smoke and lavender mist. This new version has a 1.5K AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel main camera and a 4K video recording capability.

The stylus itself offers impressive battery life—up to 100 hours of standby and nearly four hours for writing. Motorola’s latest offerings seem aimed at tech enthusiasts looking for quality features in an affordable package.
