Apple’s September 9th launch event could be one of the company’s biggest in years, with a mix of new iPhones and potential innovations. The event will kick off at 1PM ET / 10AM PT at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, and will be livestreamed on Apple’s website, Apple TV, and YouTube.

The iPhone 18 might not feature, with its launch delayed until early next year. Instead, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max could be unveiled with a price hike, larger batteries, and possibly a variable aperture camera upgrade. The iPhone Ultra, a foldable model, might also make an appearance, inspired by Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8.

The Apple Watch Series 12 could reintroduce the premium ceramic case option, along with new band colors and potential health features. Meanwhile, the AirPods 5, if they are announced, will likely be an iterative upgrade with a new chip and health sensors, but no cameras for now.

Despite the hype, the event also comes with a hint of caution. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max might see a price increase, and the foldable iPhone could face competition from Samsung’s well-received Galaxy Z Fold 8. Nevertheless, Apple’s entry into the foldable market signals a significant shift in smartphone design.
