Instagram is rolling out a new feature that gives users more control over their profile grids. Now, you can add posts you’re tagged in to your main profile grid, giving you a more curated and cohesive look. This feature is particularly useful for coming home from events where you might be tagged in great group photos, allowing you to highlight the best moments without feeling awkward about reposting them.
Users can add tagged posts directly from DM notifications, the post itself, or through the Tagged tab. If you change your mind, you can easily remove the posts without altering the original content. This update complements other recent changes from Instagram, such as the ‘Reorder your grid’ feature, which allows for easier management of your profile content.
The new feature could be particularly useful for creators and brands, providing a seamless way to showcase content they’ve been tagged in without the need to republish or use the ‘Invite collaborators’ option. It’s part of Instagram’s broader initiative to give users more control over their profiles, alongside recent tools like ‘First Draft’ and ‘Replace Audio’ that make creating and managing content more streamlined.
