Google TV Gets a Creative Boost from AI

Gemini features bring playful creativity to home screens, signaling AI’s evolving role in daily life.

Google has unveiled a fresh wave of artificial intelligence-powered features for Google TV. At the heart of these updates are Gemini capabilities, which include Nano Banana and Veo, allowing users to create and edit images with voice prompts. Nano Banana lets you transform photos with simple commands, while Veo animates still images based on your descriptions.

The Create button within the Gemini tab invites users to experiment with these tools, making it a fun family activity. For instance, you could ask the AI to make your dad wear a ridiculous outfit for a laugh. Google Photos is also getting an upgrade with Gemini-powered search, enabling quicker access to specific memories.

Beyond AI editing, Dynamic Slideshows offer animated layouts and frames, turning any photo collection into a vivid TV-ready slideshow. Meanwhile, the new Short videos for you row on Google TV home screens will bring short-form content directly to your living room, complementing these creative tools.

This move reflects Google’s strategy of integrating AI in everyday life, adapting to user preferences while exploring new avenues such as short-form video content. With features like these, the future of entertainment and creativity on your TV is looking more exciting than ever.
