Where’s the Trump phone? We’re still asking, every week. This time, we’ve got another piece of evidence that it might actually exist: the T1 has picked up a second certification from PTCRB, signaling progress towards an US launch.
The SGG-06 model, manufactured by Smart Gadgets Global LLC and supported by multiple generations of networks, just hit the certification hurdle. CEO Eric Thomas, one of Trump Mobile’s execs, mentioned this process in February as part of their path to T-Mobile approval. Now it’s T-Mobile's turn to sign off.
Between FCC authorization and PTCRB, things are looking up for the T1 Phone. But whether it’ll match the latest renders or be a cheap Android with a gold coat is anyone’s guess. For now, the Trumpometer moves up another notch towards reality.
