Suno V5.5: Now with Your Voice

It’s not just about the music anymore; it’s personal.

Suno has unveiled its most ambitious update yet, v5.5 of its AI music model, focusing on user customization like never before.

The new feature Voice allows users to train the vocal model with their own voice by uploading clean a capellas or recording directly into their phone or laptop. The clearer the recording, the less data is required, but Suno adds a layer of security by requiring a verification phrase from the user.

To further tailor outputs, Custom Models lets users train the AI on their own music catalog, using at least six tracks to create a model that can guide v5.5 responses to prompts. This feature is exclusive to Pro and Premier subscribers.

The final piece of the puzzle is My Taste, which learns your musical preferences over time. By analyzing what genres, moods, and artists you return to most often, it applies these learned tastes when using the magic wand for autogeneration.

This update marks a significant step in making AI music creation more personal and accessible, potentially revolutionizing how we interact with digital music tools.
