The Dell XPS 14 is a remarkable upgrade from its predecessor. With an impressive battery life and a physical function row, it nearly outshines the competition. However, its high price tag remains a significant drawback.
Despite its improvements, the keyboard’s lack of key travel and the haptic trackpad’s occasional misfires are minor irritants. The OLED model's display is a stunner but comes at a premium cost compared to the IPS variant.
Ironically, Dell has managed to make a thin-and-light laptop that feels anything but light on the wallet. While its performance is solid, cheaper MacBooks still offer better value for money in most benchmarks.
The XPS 14 is a testament to the relentless pursuit of perfection—only to be hampered by financial constraints. A worthy contender, but not the ultimate winner.
