Riverside, the video and podcast recording tool maker, has expanded its platform by introducing a feature that converts existing content into newsletters. This move aims to leverage the rich audio-visual content that users already create, making it easier for them to diversify their output.
The company’s co-founder Nadav Keyson explained that this approach addresses the challenge of starting from scratch with a blank page often faced by creators on other platforms like Substack and Beehiiv. By integrating AI tools directly into its recording suite, Riverside aims to streamline the process for users who find it easier to speak than write.
Other updates include support for multi-camera setups and remote guests in recordings, alongside new AI features that can draft initial content post-recording and enhance video quality. This comprehensive toolset positions Riverside as a one-stop-shop for multimedia content creators looking to expand their reach through different formats.
The venture into newsletters marks Riverside’s broader strategy of diversification, much like its competitors Substack and Beehiiv. These platforms are exploring new avenues to tap into alternative revenue streams in an increasingly crowded market where users expect seamless integration and convenience from their tools.
