World Cup Finals: Spain vs Argentina – The Final Countdown

As FIFA’s most-watched tournament nears, will we see history repeat itself or witness a new era?

The curtain is about to fall on the biggest World Cup ever. After 100 matches and with just four teams left standing, Spain and Argentina face off in the final game at 3 pm EDT on July 19th in New York/New Jersey.

Apart from the eagerly awaited match, there will be a first-ever Super Bowl-style halftime show, featuring performances from Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, BTS and Gustavo Dudamel. This is sure to keep viewers engaged even when they’re not watching the actual game.

For those missing out on live TV, FIFA has partnered with YouTube as its 'preferred partner' for streaming the games, though this comes at a cost. A subscription to YouTube TV’s sports plan will set you back $55 per month. Other options include Fubo ($46) and Hulu’s live sports option ($90).

The final match will determine who gets third place as well, with France and England facing off in Miami at 5 pm EDT on July 18th.

This World Cup has been a spectacle of competition, featuring 48 teams instead of the usual 32. The new structure meant more matches and an extended tournament duration, but it’s all leading to this thrilling climax.
